Growly Draw

Growly Draw doesn't have any claims to the title of "the next big thing in drawing", nor do the developers try to market it as such. What the application can do however, it can do it quite well. It is intended for amateur artists and designers and it serves as an excellent tool for creating illustrations for school papers, reports, newsletters and so on. The application's simple design and straightforward functionality enables any novice user to create fine graphics.

The application comes with a clean and efficient user interface. You can choose to work in drawing or painting mode, on the same window, on separate tabs. Each mode involves slightly different drawing tools and adjustment options, but in the exact same layout. The main drawing tools are located on the left edge of the interface, colors can be selected on the upper edge and you can make various adjustments to inserted or drawn items on the right side of the window.

While in drawing mode, you can insert all sorts of shapes overlay and group them, select them and make numerous tweaks. The software lets fill objects with solid colors or gradients, add and tweak shadows, change the opacity, reflection or intensity levels and much more.

If you switch to drawing mode, you will find common drawing tools, like a pain brush, pencil and so on. You can choose between different brush shapes and sizes, create masks and perform other actions.
